Hue vs Transparency
Only solid counts
The single most important reading rule on the dashboard: hue says WHAT, transparency says HOW SURE. A gate only truly counts when it's held solid. Flip the condition and watch it hold:

░ near-invisible = false · ▒ dim = true but not yet held (the wick about to fail) · █ solid = held. Checklist indicators usually lie exactly here — by counting the dim as done.
