Seven gates between an area of interest and an actual entry. Gates 1–6 measure evidence — has the market proven your side is winning yet? Gate 7 measures price — is the trade still worth taking from here? Failing the evidence gates means you are predicting. Passing them but failing gate 7 means you are chasing. Both are losses waiting to happen.
A discipline tool, not a signal. The checklist cannot tell you the trade will win — it only tells you whether you are entering on evidence or on hope. Location tells you where to watch; only reaction, confirmation, and R:R tell you when to act.
