A liquidity candle is engineered to trap the crowd. The 25%-of-ATR test tells you the opening move was big enough to be one.
Threshold = ATR × 25%. If the opening range exceeds it, the candle qualifies as a liquidity candle. Around 22–24% still counts — don’t sweat a point or two.
