Real Breakout — Don't Fade
Check the boxes that describe the bar that pierced the level.
01
Pierced an obvious level
The wick stabbed through equal highs/lows, a prior high/low, a trendline, or a round number — a spot everyone watches
02
Closed back inside the level
The bar wicked beyond but its body closed back on the original side — rejection, not acceptance. This is the single most important box
03
Resting liquidity was real
Equal highs/lows or a level tested 2+ times sat just beyond — a genuine pool of stops to grab, not empty air
04
Reversal was fast (1–3 bars)
Price snapped back quickly. A slow grind through the level is acceptance; a sharp V-reversal is a sweep
05
Volume spiked on the sweep bar
A volume burst as the level broke = stops triggering. The burst fading right after = no real follow-through
06
Higher-timeframe bias agrees
The reversal direction matches the HTF trend or draw on liquidity — you're fading into the bigger move, not against it
