Why the confirmations are separate. A consolidation at a zone resolves both ways — it can be distribution before a reversal or accumulation before continuation, and the candles inside it look identical either way. What separates them is what happens at the edges: whose stops get taken, and which side breaks the range with force. Nothing in this tool is a signal on its own; it is a way to say out loud which stage you are in, so you stop trading stage two as if it were stage three.
