The Session Clock is one idea applied to every market: the hour you trade matters as much as the setup you trade. A signal that prints money at 10:00 AM can be a trap at lunch — and each instrument keeps its own hours. Stocks run a tight six-and-a-half-hour auction; forex circles the globe; crypto never closes but still has a rush hour; gold trades the calendar; futures build their map overnight. This hub puts all five on one live 24-hour timeline so you can see, at a glance, which market is awake right now — and the window where they all peak together.

Hover any hour to scan every market at once, watch the live NOW line sweep across, and toggle your timezone:

How to read it

Each row is one instrument; the brighter the band, the more active that market is. Two things to look for:

  • The pink NOW line tells you instantly what is live this second — is it a dead lunch for stocks but the London–NY overlap for gold? Trade the market that is actually awake.
  • The shaded column (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM ET) is the prime overlap. Stocks are in their morning momentum, forex is in the London–New York overlap, and gold is in its biggest window — all at once. This is the deepest-liquidity, cleanest-trend stretch of the global day. If your schedule only allows one session, this is the one.

The lesson underneath every row is the same: ask what phase the market is in before you trust any signal. A breakout is gold in one hour and a trap in another. The clock is the filter that runs before your indicators do.

The one-line rule
Trade the market that is awake, in the window where it is strongest. Every instrument keeps its own hours — read the clock first, and let it decide whether the signal is even worth taking.
